2026
September 9, 2026: editorial operations change. Day to day editorial operations of this site changed hands. The incoming operator began a full review of the article library against a stricter sourcing standard, now written down in the editorial policy published the same day.
September 9, 2026: site wide sourcing and metadata rework. A batch review reworked articles across the library. What changed: article excerpts that had been mechanically truncated mid word were rewritten; statistics and study citations that could not be verified at a primary source were hedged to honest generality or removed; verified primary source links (NIH, CDC, FDA, WHO, EPA, and peer reviewed research, among others) were added next to the claims they support; reference sections that listed organization names without links were removed; footnote markers pointing at nothing, leftover machine metadata, and one fully duplicated article body were cleaned up; a small number of ungrammatical, keyword shaped titles were rewritten in plain English; and a few articles were moved to the correct category.
September 9, 2026: trust pages and author bios. This changelog, the corrections page, and the editorial policy were published, and author pages were given working method bios that disclose the site's use of pen names.
